Any tips/winning strategies for online blackjack?

I just started learning and playing online blackjack and I need more strategies. A lot of this gambling/card “lingo” is still new to me, so english translation would help quite a lot.

My strategies so far is whenever I have say 10 or 11 and the dealer has 9,10,11, I always double, most of the time it works. Also, whenever I land on 18-20, I always stand. Other than that I don’t really know how to take advantage of Surrender or other hitting strategies, etc..

Can anyone help?

    online blackjack I am a little leary because the house has all the odds and can stack decks however they want I stick to the poker
